Rue Trattoria

A hospitality floor has to take a hundred covers a night and still look considered at close of service. We ground back to a generous aggregate and burnished it to a cream sheen — dense enough to shrug off spills and chair legs, soft enough that late sun pools across it. The slab runs unbroken from the entry past the bar to the open kitchen, so the room reads as one space rather than a set of zones.
